From the Heart

Just received these from a very nice person (my daughter’s mother-in-law) in appreciation for some genealogy research I’d done for their family. I am overwhelmed!

The research was some of the most fun I’ve ever done because it lead from Ames, Story County Iowa, through colonial America, and then to England.  This was a new territory to explore and I learned many things.

The tote bag will be useful for holding current research materials and my tablet computer.  All set for a day of genealogy research … and a mug to hold a cup of coffee or a cold drink.

There were a few more items, not pictured, that can only be described “as being in good taste.”  And we will use them when we visit one of our favorite restaurants in Ames.

Some people just are nice people– and the sender of these items definitely fits that category.

A big thank you to Susan!  (And the wrapping was your personal touch!)  Jim and I are grateful our daughter has such wonderful in-laws!
